All Classes held at Rock River Center are open to adults of all ages unless otherwise noted. Rock River Center registration policy for our activities, classes or trips will require a completed reservation form, signed waiver and payment. Access the registration form at the bottom of this page, stop in at Rock River Center or check for the form in our newsletter. You are NOT registered until forms and payments are received at Rock River Center.
Refund policy: Refunds will be given in the event of a death in the immediate family or the submission of a doctor's note stating reasons of illness or personal injury will also allow a refund. All other cancellations cannot be refunded if Rock River Center has made monetary commitments to vendors or instructors.
If you have suggestions for a class or would like to teach a class, contact Linda Duffy at RRC.

ACTIVITIES
Pine STRAW basket class – april 17th
Gary Monahan is the instructor for this hands-on class, Tuesday afternoon April 17th 12:30 to 3:30. Each participant will create a small basket using natural pine needles. No experience is necessary; class is open to everyone. Cost includes instruction and materials.

WOOD CARVING
George Tolliver has whittled and worked with wood from an early age. George will be bringing his background and his talent to Rock River Center in the form of wood carving classes. Students should bring to class a small (sharp) knife and a cut resistant glove (available at Wal-Mart). If you are interested in a beginning carving tool set they are available at Michael’s and are sold under the Walnut Hollow brand.
Computer Classes- Please share your input on computer classes you would like to see offered at RRC. We would like to offer the classes that interest you and at time that work if possible.
INSTRUCTIONAL
AARP Driver Safety Course
An eight hour defensive driving course for those 55 years of age and older will be held at Rock River Center in Oregon. This two-day course is designed to improve driver safety, and those completing it are eligible for discounts on auto liability premiums. A 55-Alive certificate entitles you to premium reduction for three years with most companies, after which time the course must be taken again. AARP sponsors this course and advance registration is required since seating is limited. Participants must attend both days to complete the course.

A prepaid fee of $12 for AARP members/$14 non AARP members is required payable to AARP, c/o Rock River Center, 810 S 10th St., Oregon, IL 61061. Your AARP number must be included for the discount.
